What is it?

Gold Week Telethon is the major annual fundraising campaign for Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick. People across the state hold Gold Events in their homes, schools and workplaces or attend one of our 7 official Gold Events in prominent restaurants in Sydney and surrounds. All these Gold celebrations lead up to the grand finale of an all-day live broadcast on Channel Nine, featuring our favourite Channel Nine personalities, inspiring stories from Hospital families and staff, a live studio audience and performances by some of Australia’s top music acts. In 2011, thanks to your generosity, the 2nd Gold Week Telethon raised an impressive $1.68 million for the Hospital!

Why do it?

Each year, our Hospital touches the lives of over 326,000 children across NSW and beyond. These kids need your help.

Who does it?

Everyone can get involved with the Gold Week Telethon! Thanks to our amazing community, over the past 7 years Gold Week has raised almost $5 million in vital funds to help the Hospital do things like buy life-saving equipment, refurbish wards and fund essential research.

Play your Part

Get involved in Gold Week Telethon 2012! Help us build on our previous efforts and raise even more money for the Hospital by holding a Gold Event in your home, school or workplace and invite your friends, family and colleagues – just ask your guests to make a donation!
